Kate's kause is dedicated to Angelman Syndrome awareness and the construction of inclusive community projects.
Kate's kause was established to give an incredible 4 year old named Kate a voice. Kate was born with Angelman Syndrome - a rare neurogenetic disorder. The founders of Kate's kause are determined to see kids like Kate have access to the same opportunities as other children. In the spirit of inclusion, the first goal of Kate's kause was to build and all-accessible playground in Elmira, Ontario called Kate's Place for Everyone. This playground has provided a place where children of all abilities can play together and benefit from interaction and learning in a social, play-filled environment.
By riding with The Kate's Kause team and fund-raising a minimum of $150, members will be rewarded with a FREE custom designed jersey and a swag bag full of great cycling related items.
